About LPPSTA 2019

The 1st International Conference on Loss Prevention, Process Safety, and Thermal Analysis in Chemical and Coal Industries （LPPSTA2019） was successfully held in Yunlin, Taiwan, China, November 24-27, 2019.More than 200 delegates from the United States, Canada, France, Japan, Korea, Italy, Hungary, China, and other contries and regions attended the conference. 

Professor Chi-Min Shu from Yunlin University of Science and Technology served as the chairman. Professors Jun Deng from Xi'an University of Science and Technology, Juncheng Jiang from Changzhou University, Jao-Jia Horng from Yunlin University of Science and Technology and Fubao Zhou from China University of Mining and Technology served as the vice chairmen of the conference. 

The LPPSTA2019 conference set up a total of 16 topics, such as process safety technology, chemical reaction and green technology, dust explosion, hazardous substances, accident simulation and quantitative risk assessment. Professor Paul Amyotte, Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Loss Prevention in the Process Industries, and Professor Alfred Kallay-Menyhard, deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry et al. present the Plenary lecutures.
