Conference Awards

1. Mannan Award

Dr. Sam Mannan is an outstanding pioneer in the chemical industry. He passed away unfortunately in 2018. We especially set this award to encourage one young scholar with excellent contributions to industrial safety.

If you would like to apply for the award, please submit all documents before September 5.

2. Best Paper Award / Student Travel Grant

The awards are given to the four best papers (choose one of four submission topics) of LPPSTA 2021 to acknowledge and encourage excellence in research of all areas, and to help assure the future livelihood and sustainability of the field. Eligibility for the award is restricted to papers authored or co-authored by a person who must have been a registered person at the time of paper submission.

The grant is given the assistance for students in attending conferences and presenting papers. The five outstanding students obtain the student travel grant.

3. Presentation Award

Five presentation awards for the attendee of the presentation sessions on LPPSTA 2021 will be given to papers selected by the Technical Program Committee of LPPSTA 2021.

4. Poster Award

Five poster awards for the attendee of poster sessions on LPPSTA 2021 will be given to papers selected by the Technical Program Committee of LPPSTA 2021.

Note: Each of the Awards consists of some cash reward and a suitably inscribed certificate.
